RapidPro NZ Merges with Objective 3D!

Good News! Objective 3D and RapidPro are merging which means a greater range of services, expertise and discounts to existing clients. 

Objective 3D will now offer part sales and finishing in both Australia and New Zealand through their new 3D printing division - RedEye Australasia (formerly RapidPro).

Utilising all the skills and knowledge of RapidPro’s team of engineers and 3D print technicians in New Zealand and Australia, the RedEye Australasia Build centre will have even greater capabilities and services offering even more 3D printing and additive manufacturing solutions to existing clients. The New Zealand office now offers a full suite of 3D Printing solutions from 3D Printer Sales and Service to 3D Part sales.

"We are very excited at being able to offer a full suite of 3D printing solutions,” says Matt Minio, General Manager of the combined entity. "Our customers will now be able to not only make prototypes and 3D printed parts in-house, but they’ll also have the option to use our Additive Manufacturing build centre at a discounted rate through our RedEye Corporate Advantage network. What they cannot build from their machines due to high volume requirements or the need for materials not available on their own system, we can now provide as a full 3D printing solutions provider.”

The expansion of RapidPro to RedEye Australasia is indicative of the growth in this region and the need for a larger state of the art build centre to service Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific. The new RedEye website will soon offer cutting edge quoting software for instant quoting and faster order processing. This will enable clients to quote and order instantly to get their part next in the queue and delivered to their door even faster!

Simon Bartlett, Engineering Manager   AUST & NZ
Simon has worked as a Design and Development Engineer for several key companies around the world, training as a Six Sigma Black Belt. After extensive FMEA/DFMEA and the latest testing methodologies, his philosophy is “you learn a lot more by breaking it”.  After using Rapid Prototyping and Additive Manufacturing technologies in both his Automotive and Military fields, Simon finally made the switch to producing accurate prototypes instead of receiving them.  Bringing over 20 years of experience and Engineering knowledge to the field of additive manufacturing, Simon ensures that RapidPro delivers on the key criteria required from each model or prototype produced.

Daniel Traeger – Operations Manager   NZ
Daniel moved from his native home in Germany to New Zealand in 2008 and has never looked back. After studying Processes for Plastic and Paper and Plastic Technologies at Fachhochschule, Daniel worked for EOS (world leaders in Laser Sinter Systems) in Germany for 10 years helping to develop the world renown EOSint P technology systems and materials used in SLS systems today before moving to New Zealand where he has specialised in Objet printing technologies for the last 4 years. Daniel has an exceptional understanding of Rapid Prototyping and Additive Manufacturing materials and is happy to assist clients with process and material selection to suit their project requirements.

Hugh Tevelein- Operations Manager   AUST
Hugh studied Engineering and Product Design at Swinburne University. Utilising his engineering and design background, Hugh worked at Cole Clark guitars for some time where he ran their CNC machines for over three years.  With a keen understanding of machine tolerances and the importance of accuracy to most projects, Hugh assesses build files for any imperfections which may affect build compatibility. Responsible for the day to day running of RapidPro’s prototyping technologies and workflow, Hugh makes sure your project gets built on time and to your specifications.
